The Lifetime Warranty commences at the expiry of Your remaining manufacturer’s warranty (either 36 months old or 60,000 miles from date of first registration, whichever occurs first). The Lifetime Warranty will only be regarded as having commenced if You adhere to the terms and conditions set out in this document, specifically the servicing requirements and Annual Checks as detailed in section 3. Continuation of cover is dependent upon the terms and conditions detailed below.

2. Coverage of the Lifetime Warranty

Vauxhall’s obligations under this Lifetime Warranty are limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, the components listed in section 4. The repair or replacement of defective parts under this undertaking will be made by the Vauxhall Authorised Retailer to whom the Vehicle is returned, subject to the Customer Repair Contribution, which is payable by You. For the parts fitted during a repair, until expiry of the Lifetime Warranty mileage limitation of 100,000 miles, the same Lifetime Warranty is given as for the motor Vehicle, i.e. the Lifetime Warranty is not extended by the repair or replacement of parts even for the parts rectified or replaced. Replaced parts become the property of the Provider.

Lifetime Warranty claims can only be made on presentation of the schedule of cover and the service and warranty booklet and upon confirmation that the Vehicle has been serviced in accordance with the below servicing requirements.

The Administrator reserves the right to appoint an independent engineer to inspect the Vehicle prior to any repair or replacement of part(s) covered. The Provider at its discretion may elect to agree with the owner a value for the Vehicle where the parts and labour cost of the repair exceeds the market value of the Vehicle at the time of failure. The same will apply where the parts needed for repair are no longer available.
